Wellness Gatherings – Creative in Nature

November 20 - November 22

DETAILS

Creative in Nature

November 20–22, 2026

A cozy mountain gathering for women to slow down, reconnect with their creativity, and find inspiration in nature.
What happens when you give yourself permission to slow down?
To step away from the demands of everyday life.
To spend a weekend where no one needs anything from you.
To breathe deeply, notice the beauty around you, and create simply for the joy of creating.
Creative in Nature is the first gathering in our Nature’s Getaway Wellness Gatherings series—a thoughtfully curated mountain experience where women are invited to rest, reconnect, and make space for themselves.
This isn’t about learning to be creative.
It’s about remembering that you already are.

A Weekend with Purpose

We believe creativity flourishes when we’re given time, space, and permission.
Permission to slow down.
Permission to be curious.
Permission to create without expectation.

Whether your creativity is found through writing, photography, knitting, painting, quilting, journaling, or simply dreaming about what’s next, this weekend offers space to reconnect with that part of yourself.

Your Mountain Home

From the moment you arrive at Nature’s Getaway, you’re invited to settle into the slower rhythm of mountain life.
Enjoy cozy accommodations, welcoming gathering spaces, crackling indoor and outdoor fires, peaceful mountain views, and evenings soaking beneath the stars in our hot tubs.
Everything has been thoughtfully prepared so you can simply arrive, unpack, and exhale.

A Morning of Creative Inspiration

Saturday begins with a gentle, guided session designed to awaken your creativity through the beauty of the natural world.
Together, we’ll slow down, notice what often goes unseen, and explore simple ways to reconnect with curiosity, wonder, and imagination. Through reflection, observation, conversation, and time outdoors, you’ll discover that creativity isn’t something reserved for artists—it’s something we all carry within us.
From there, the weekend becomes your own.
Bring a project you’ve been meaning to start, continue something you already love, or simply allow inspiration to unfold naturally.
There are no deadlines, no expectations, and no pressure to produce.
Only the gift of uninterrupted time.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

Wellness is found in the little things.
Slow mornings with fresh coffee.
Thoughtfully prepared meals.
Meaningful conversations.
Quiet moments by the fire.
A slice of homemade pie from Miners’ Cafe.
An evening soak beneath a sky full of stars.
Sometimes the most restorative experiences are also the simplest.

Nature as Your Guide

The mountains have a way of helping us breathe a little deeper.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll have opportunities for gentle walks, quiet time in the forest, and moments to notice the beauty that often gets overlooked in everyday life.
Take photographs.
Gather inspiration.
Sit on a rock.
Watch the trees sway.
Or simply enjoy the gift of being outdoors.
Everything is an invitation—never an expectation.

Hosted with Heart

Your hosts, Lucinda Watkins and Tanya Koshowski, have intentionally designed this gathering around one simple belief:
When women are cared for, given space, and welcomed without expectation, something beautiful begins to unfold.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the pace of the weekend to the shared meals, cozy spaces, mountain hospitality, and opportunities for quiet connection.
Our hope is that you’ll leave feeling rested, inspired, and carrying home something that can’t be packed in a suitcase.
A little more space.
A little more peace.
And a renewed sense of creativity that was there all along.
