Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our time at the two cabins rented for our reunion weekend. The well kept yard, all the amenities and both cabins were absolutely amazing! Such an incredible place to get away from it all. Tanya and Jerry are fantastic. The cabins are immaculate and so cozy! Loved our time in the cook house. One of the most relaxing times ever. We also loved checking out the bubbles in Abraham Lake. So cool. One word that really described it well for us is HYGGE- A calm, comfortable time with people you love, a complete absence of frustrations or anything emotionally overwhelming. Often with good food and drinks, warm blankets and candlelight. This is happiness. My wife and I stayed at Nature’s Getaway Nordegg in January 2022 inside the Cozy Bear Cabin. The scenery was simply spectacular; we felt so immersed in nature and really felt the “cabin in the woods” vibe. The cabin itself was very well furnished, cozy but also spacious, especially since it was just the two of us staying. We also had a chance to use the cookhouse which was warm and well decorated. We cooked steaks and played a few games on the table. Lastly the hot tub outside was an absolute treat. There is nothing more amazing than being in a hot tub outdoors in the woods while it’s snowing.
